Cancer is a fast-growing health priority all over the world. It’s estimated that 1 in 9 individuals will
develop cancer in their lifetime, and it’s currently the second-leading cause of global mortality.1 While
the burden of cancer differs across countries, it’s one of the top five mortality causes in most.

In addition to our NCD brief on cancer, Percept has worked with the Cancer Alliance of South Africa to create the first evidenced-based model to project the burden and cost of cancer services from 2021-2030. Have a look at it below.
